Scarlett Mustang
Scarlett Mustang launched onto the Canberra Burlesque scene in October 2016 when she graduated from the Sass and Tease Collective, and continues to bring her mix of spirited, ballsy and sassy attitude that always comes with a cheeky smile.
Scarlett quickly snagged a place in “Nerdlesque” at Reload bar, a regular Cosplay Burlesque event where she quickly built a fan base in the Cosplay and Burlesque communities while performing multiple events in Canberra and NSW in 2017 – 2019.
Debuting her own sell out Production show in 2017, “The Bewitched Variety Show” at Treehouse, was a collaborative effort and a creative space for beginners looking to develop and build an act to bring to stage. Scarlett has an eye for talent and loves supporting anyone wanting to find their brand and it wasn’t long till Scarlett was donned the name “Madam” amongst her troupe. The dawn of Madam Mustang began.
Madam has seen some very amazing people grace her stage and watched their journey from the beginning and after 10 amazingly sell out Productions, Madam had a break to produce something even grander, her 3rd child!
After a hiatus, Scarlett 2.0 came back in 2023 and graced the stage once again, bringing with her a new Production, “Menagerie of Misfits”. After 3 more brilliant shows, Scarlett has now joined forces with the amazing Teeni!
Scarlett’s talents also stretch to teaching the art of tease (specialising in balloon pop) and also is an exceptional Madam of Ceremonies (MC) for a range of events in the Canberra Community.
She loves the glitz, She loves the glamour, but most of all she loves to entertain!
Teeni Banhmi
Teeni Banhmi is currently Canberra’s one and only pole dancing Drag Queen, the Diva of Dazzle, and your untamed Goddess of the stage. They’re not just a performer; they’re an experience, a spectacle, a wet fantasy come to life.
Exploring the art of pole dance in 2019, they developed their art form and added to it by exploding into the Canberra Drag scene in 2022.
Teeni is a pocket rocket of talent and energy who is a highly revered expert Instructor of Pole at Kittens Pole Dance Studio in Greenway and Belconnen where they teach from Beginners to Advanced as well as specialised technical workshops. They support students in developing routines for stage and beyond.
They have competed in a range of pole dancing competitions such as “Australian Pole Championships” (2023), “Mx Pole Dance ACT” (2024) and have been seen showing why they are a constant crowd pleaser in shows such as “Untamed”, “Polesque”, “Drag Takeover”, “Queer Crash”, etc.
Beyond the stage, Teeni is highly involved in the Canberra LGBTIQA+ community and can regularly be seen supporting community groups and events such as Canberra Frontrunners and SpringOut. Teeni is also the person behind Canberra’s float “Capital of Equality” at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
So, hold on tight, because all this energy needs to go somewhere and when they hit the stage, things are going to get exciting.
