We’re inviting performers of all experience levels in burlesque, pole, drag, cabaret, belly dancing, comedy, singing, and magic to apply for a chance to dazzle our audience with vintage-inspired acts.
Act Requirements:
- Audience interaction is encouraged to enhance the immersive experience
- Performances must adhere to a vintage theme (1920s–1960s)
- Costuming should reflect the chosen era’s style
- Music should be era-specific or modern tracks reimagined in a vintage style (e.g., Postmodern Jukebox)
- Acts are to be choreographed for roaming style, engaging with the audience throughout the venue
Step into the world of Artisan Bohemia, an exclusive monthly sip and sketch event hosted by Menagerie of Misfits Productions at the elegant Blue Eyes Cocktail Lounge in Canberra. We’re seeking burlesque, drag, cabaret, pole performers, and other artistic models to participate in this immersive experience, where art and performance intertwine.
Model Requirements:
- Engagement: While posing, subtle interaction with the audience is encouraged to enhance the artistic atmosphere
- Confidence in Your Craft: All experience levels welcome; if you can present an amazing costume and bring flair, personality, and character, we’re here to support you
- Comfortable Presentation: Choose attire that makes you feel at ease and aligns with the vintage theme (1920s–1960s)
